Our Process
The typical H2A contract has a duration of 10 months. It takes us 90 days from receipt of your labor request (a single-page contract, without frivolous litigation) to having boots on the ground at your farm.
We petition for your request workers, scout them internationally, and get them stateside. Per the law, all of their travel expenses are reimbursed and they receive the state mandated pay rate.
Our team sets up housing for workers off-site, and buses them to work in the morning then back home at the end of the day. When they initially arrive, we have their beds made and fridges stocked to make their entry seamless.
We take care of payroll for them as well, with payouts every Friday morning for the previous week.
Our workers are also fully insured; if anything should happen, we take care of the medical care, transportation, and rehabilitation of any injured workers.
If you are covered by local work for now but have concerns about what the future holds, we can start you with as few as five supplemental H2A workers to ensure you aren't running too short and are in position to expand your H2A usage if it becomes necessary.

our story
Good Harvest Labor was founded by Ray Rose to address industry - wide labor shortages and a challenging to navigate visa system. After starting his own tree farm out of Floral City, Florida, he started using the H2A visa system to build the Rosedale Farms team. Colleagues in the industry needed assistance navigating it and supplementing their domestic work forces, and Good Harvest Labor was born. We now support several farms across the state, including Hibernia, Jon's Nursery, Marion Gardens, and JWD Trees, and are in position to take on more tree farms and nurseries for the end of 2025 and 2026.
